Effective Date: 14 October 2026

FAS Tutors provides online tutoring and educational services to students worldwide. This policy explains the conditions under which customers may cancel lessons, request rescheduling, or seek refunds for payments made to FAS Tutors.

01Introduction

FAS Tutors provides online tutoring and educational services to students worldwide. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which customers may cancel lessons, request rescheduling, or seek refunds for payments made to FAS Tutors.

02Payments

Customers must pay the applicable fees through the payment methods officially offered by FAS Tutors. Customers should review the lesson details, package price, number of lessons, and applicable conditions before making a payment.

03Lesson Cancellation by Students

Students or parents who wish to cancel a lesson should notify FAS Tutors through the official support email.

  • Cancellations received at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson may qualify for rescheduling without an additional fee, subject to tutor availability.
  • Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson may not qualify for a replacement lesson or refund.
  • Missed lessons without prior notice may be treated as completed lessons unless an exception is approved.
  • Exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually.

Any package-specific cancellation terms communicated before purchase will apply where appropriate and lawful.

04Lesson Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests should be submitted as early as possible. Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability and confirmation by FAS Tutors.

Where a lesson cannot be rescheduled at a mutually suitable time, the customer may contact our support team to discuss available options.

05Tutor Cancellation

If a tutor cancels a scheduled lesson, FAS Tutors will offer a replacement lesson or an appropriate account credit.

If neither option is suitable or available, the customer may request a refund for the affected lesson.

06Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payments or verified payment errors.
  • Payment collected for a service that FAS Tutors is unable to provide.
  • Eligible unused lessons in a prepaid package, subject to the terms disclosed before purchase.
  • Lessons cancelled by FAS Tutors where a suitable replacement or credit cannot be provided.
  • Other circumstances where a refund is required by applicable law or approved by FAS Tutors.

Lessons already delivered, late cancellations, and missed lessons may not qualify for refunds unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.

07Prepaid Packages and Unused Lessons

Customers wishing to discontinue a prepaid package may submit a written refund request for eligible unused lessons.

Any deductions for lessons already delivered, discounts, or other charges must be consistent with the terms disclosed at the time of purchase and applicable law. No deduction will be made where prohibited by law.

Any expiry dates or package-specific restrictions must be communicated before purchase.

08How to Request a Refund

Customers should email infofastutor@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Full name of the purchaser or student.
  • Registered email address.
  • Payment date.
  • Transaction reference or payment receipt.
  • Relevant tutoring package or lesson details.
  • Reason for the refund request.

For security purposes, customers must not email full payment card numbers, card security codes, or passwords.

09Refund Review and Processing Time

FAS Tutors aims to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and provide a decision within 7 business days after receiving the information reasonably required to assess the request.

Approved refunds will generally be issued through the original payment method where supported. The time required for the funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider and the customer's bank or country.

If further investigation is necessary, we will inform the customer.

10Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact FAS Tutors first if they believe a payment is incorrect or a service has not been delivered as agreed.

We will review the relevant records and communicate the outcome. Customers retain any dispute or chargeback rights available through their payment provider.

11Consumer Rights

This policy does not exclude any mandatory refund rights or consumer protections available under applicable law. Where local law provides stronger protection, the applicable legal requirements will prevail.
